Medixpire ("we", "our", or "the app") helps medical shopkeepers track medicine expiry dates, manage stock returns, and create invoices. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account Information: Phone number for login and authentication. Name and shop name provided during signup.
Location Data: During signup, we collect your shop's location (via GPS or manual pincode entry). This includes pincode, city, state, and GPS coordinates. Location is collected once during profile setup and can be updated later in your profile settings.
Camera: We use your device camera solely to scan medicine bills. Images are processed to extract medicine details (name, batch number, expiry date, pack size). Bill images are stored securely in Google Cloud Storage linked to your account.
Microphone: We use your device microphone for voice-based invoice creation. Audio is processed in real-time to extract medicine names, quantities, and patient/doctor details. Audio recordings are not stored — they are processed and discarded immediately.
Medicine Data: Medicine names, batch numbers, expiry dates, quantities, pack sizes, and prices extracted from scanned bills.
Invoice Data: Invoices you create, including medicine items, quantities, prices, patient names, and doctor names.
Notifications: We collect your Firebase Cloud Messaging token to send expiry alerts and reminders.
We may use anonymized and aggregated data — with all personally identifiable information removed — to generate market insights about medicine demand, pricing trends, and regional patterns. This data cannot be traced back to any individual user or shop. We do not sell individual user data.
Your data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform servers in India. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission. Authentication tokens are used to ensure only you can access your data.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. Bill images and voice recordings are processed using Google's Gemini AI for extraction and are not used for any other purpose. Anonymized, aggregated analytics (with no personal information) may be shared with industry partners to improve medicine availability.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual bills, medicines, and invoices at any time from within the app. You may also delete your entire account, which permanently removes all associated data.
