Medixpire ("we", "our", or "the app") helps medical shopkeepers track medicine expiry dates and manage stock returns. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Account Information: Phone number for login and authentication.
Camera: We use your device camera solely to scan medicine bills. Images are processed to extract medicine details (name, batch number, expiry date). Bill images are stored securely in Google Cloud Storage linked to your account.
Medicine Data: Medicine names, batch numbers, expiry dates, quantities, and prices extracted from scanned bills.
Notifications: We collect your Firebase Cloud Messaging token to send expiry alerts and reminders.
Your data is stored securely on Google Cloud Platform servers. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission. Authentication tokens are used to ensure only you can access your data.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Bill images are processed using Google's Gemini AI for text extraction and are not used for any other purpose.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete individual bills and medicines at any time from within the app.
